Alumni Association (AA) of Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM)
Alumni Association (AA) of Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) came into existence on 14th January 2019, much later when the first batch passed out in 1990. The Association embraces all the alumni who passed out from the first batch up until belonging to different courses conducted by IIFM: Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (now MBA Forestry Management), Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (now MBA Sustainability Management), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Natural Resource Management,Fellow Programme in Management.
As IIFM has acquired the status of Deemed to be University it has additional courses: MBA Sustainable Development, MBA Development and Sustainable Finance, Ph.D.- FRI Deemed University.
Registration of Alumni Association in 2019 happened with the tireless efforts of its founding Vice President Archana Sharma (PFM 1996). Deepak Khare (PFM 1988-90 first batch) was the first President of Alumni Association, Secretary Praveen Khedale (PFM 2010) and Sudhanshu Agarwal (PFM 2009) was Treasurer.
